BARBER INSTRUCTOR
Barber Instructor Program – 300 Clock Hours
Course Objective
The Barber Concierge Academy Barber Instructor Program prepares experienced licensed barbers to become effective educators through advanced instruction in teaching methodology, classroom management, lesson planning, student evaluation, communication, professionalism, and leadership. Graduates will be prepared to teach in licensed barber schools and mentor the next generation of barber professionals.
Requirements
Applicants must meet the eligibility requirements established by the Tennessee Board of Cosmetology and Barber Examiners.
To enroll, applicants must:

Hold a current Tennessee barber license or otherwise meet Tennessee instructor licensure requirements.

Meet all eligibility requirements established by the Tennessee Board for barber instructor licensure.

Complete the Barber Concierge Academy admissions process.

Demonstrate the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Sign an Enrollment Agreement prior to beginning classes.

Provide valid government-issued photo identification.

Non-U.S. citizens must provide valid documentation authorizing them to study in the United States.
Program Length: 300 Clock Hours
Upon successful completion of the program and satisfaction of all state requirements, graduates will be eligible to apply for Tennessee Barber Instructor licensure.
